It was only in March of this year we opened the doors to our studio in Pattingham, a lovely village on the outskirts of Wolverhampton and South Staffs.
Not long after taking on our lease we heard about the Pattingham Scarecrow Festival, a three day event which has been held bi-annually since 2011. Being as creative as we are we can't wait for this to happen and its finally coming round.
This year it takes place on the 22nd to the 24th September with over 150 Scarecrows being made and placed along a trail for visitors to view. You will also possibly get to view some spectacular haystack creations. Previous years have even seen live size Castles among many other creations.
A Trail Guide will be available at the Village Hall to help you along your way including a quiz for Children which also includes a Scarecrow Badge. Other entertainment, attractions and stalls will also be available.
Proceeds raised from the festival go towards benefiting the local community. You can see a list of how proceeds have benefited the community from past festivals here.
We are sure that this will be a great family day out and we would love to see some of you come and check out our own Scarecrow creations displayed at our studio.
