Winter Scenery Photo Manipulation
Many of us long and hope for that white blanket of snow as the Christmas period dawns upon us. Then it snows and it disappears in a matter of hours.
We can however make that scene almost a reality with our winter scene editing techniques.
Ok we will admit it, it's never going to be as good as the real experience but sometimes its all we have.
So how do we do it?
Last year I played around and figured out some techniques to turn an image into a wintery scene that was completed with or without snow fall. The process uses a carefully crafted selection technique that allows us to composite a solid layer of white. Then some additional editing to give the image a cooler appearance and some masking of areas where we don't want snow to appear. All this combined and we are able to create that magical scene that has often been wishful thinking.
We can offer this photo editing technique with many of our services, so if it appeals to you drop us a message or talk to us about it during your session.
Take a look at some of our examples in the gallery below.
